Basilisk

Two clans fighting to death and a great love between two leaders, whose despite the feelings can't be together. Sounds interesting ? It's even better than that. Anime is placed in Japan in about 16th century. When the pact of no hostilities between the Iga and Kouga clan where broken, the best ten ninjas from each one were send to a bloody competition. Between all of that, two leaders, Kouga Gennosuke and Oboro needed to make a very important decision - whether to kill the person they love or lead their entire clan to annihilation.

What do I think about Basilisk?

+ Very interesting story
+ Elite members of both clans had normal, friendly side(towards their own clan members) and aggresive and deadly one towards other clan , which shows that all of them had theis own, deep personalities.
+ Soundtrack ( Second ending - Nana Mizuki - Hime Murasaki)


- Characters in this anime aren't invincible, so some people might dislike the rest of the episodes (it's hard to watch when your fav chars are dead and the only one left are the ones which we don't like ;P)
- Some poeple might find those elite shinobis more like X-mens because of their techniques.
- Despite the fact that every character is original, some of them are too...weird (for example Jingoro). They should make them to"fit" more into Basilisk world.
