Berserk

Violent people in violent times. It's a Dark Phantasy anime, inspired by medieval Europe where blood and sex are a normal thing. It tells the story of Gutssu, huge and fearsome warrior with even bigger sword on his hands. Sounds lame and predictible ? In reality Berserk has much more to offer in both, character development and overall storyline. It's not about some brainless anime character, but about friendship, dreams and love. Anime is based on manga,which is a real masterpiece, but to be honest it's not 100% similar to it, and it tells only the story from first, very few chapters. Nonetheless it's a total Anime Classic and in my opinion everyone should watch it, even if you will not like it - you need to know it xD.

What do I think about Berserk?

+ character personalities and their development
+ overall mood and a real, dark phantasy world
+ soundtrack (Gattsu theme is incredible)

- anime is finishing ine the middle of the action, leaving the viewer without any answers ( the main aim of this anime was to interest people into manga - new chapters are still being released)
- some people might find this anime too violent and grotesque (even when a lot of scenes were censured compare to manga)
- people that haven't seen Berserk are compering it to Conan which is a disgrace for the first one :P
